So I'm thinking of opening an Etsy store to sell some prints. Any way to make some extra money seems like a good thing to me.

Though I'm not sure if I should make a few prints first and then sell those or have a print to order system instead. It would just be inkjet prints though. I'm not sure how well that would do. :(

I worry too much I know. I just want opinions. Pls. ♥

Long time no update! (Psst. If you haven't filled out my holiday card post, go go go!)

I brought the idea up to mom to get an elliptical for Christmas since they always get us a "family" Christmas present. Since we never make it to the gym (with the exception of my brother who is doing kick boxing & MMA) but always complain about needing to work out and lose weight. So mom and Robert went buy an elliptical last week. Rofl. I've worked out nearly every day for a good 15-20 minutes and have lost 3lbs since last week. \m/ If I can keep it up and build my resistance up to go more than 20 minutes (my thighs, they burns) then I don't doubt I can lose about 30lbs or more in a few months time. WHICH MAKES ME VERY HAPPY! :D

Work has been blah. Still not exactly making 20 hours a week but that's mostly because we are so insanely slow still and they still haven't managed to finish the building. -_-; They need to be done before December 5th since we're having our Grand Opening (oh joy).

Nothing much else has been going on. I have some errands to go run today, bank, Walmart for make-up, etc. Mom, my Granny, and I went shopping Sunday. I got some espresso brown curtains for my room and I bought a couple of other little things. :3

Rofl. I want to see New Moon but it will wait until it's in the theatre for a few weeks. John wants to go see Avatar and I want to see Ninja Assassin and damn near everything else that has come out. Too many movies and no time to go see them!

There was something else I wanted to write about but I forgot what it was. Oh well. I guess I'll go shower now and attempt to get some things done today. :D ♥

Due to the absolute fuckery of the internet and how my name keeps coming up in these hate memes that people keep creating because they have nothing better to do with their time than start drama, I'm not accepting any friend requests.

As I have said before, I don't friend empty journals, journals with one or two posts, nor do I friend everyone back because this is my personal life and journal that I decide who I care to share that with.

Despite what people may think, I do have a life outside of the internet and Super Junior and I just don't have the time nor the inclination to keep up with this shit.

If you want to take your anger out on something, go find a brick wall and kick it as hard as you can.

For my flist, I'll finish my photo meme soon. Work has consumed my life these past few weeks and time has not been my friend. If I'm not around, you know where to find me. ♥

Holiday Cards!

I'm starting this rather early, I know but it will give me an entire month or so to get everything ready and sent out. I know the world is full of diversity and different religions that do not celebrate Christmas so I try my best to send out relatively generic Happy Holiday sort of cards. But to add a personal touch I always include a photo that I've taken.

If you don't celebrate any specific holiday, please let me know! I'll still send you a card (I have plenty of pretty non holiday cards lying around) and I'd still love to send them to you guys. ♥

I'm giving your choice of photo this time around. You can ask for something I've posted before, a picture of Sunny, or a prompt of your own. My only rules are no pictures of me, I can't do snow or anything "scenic" since I live in south Louisiana and there isn't anything very nice to look at around here. I cannot guarantee the artsy-ness of a prompt you give me though so just a warning. Lol. And if anything I may ask for a different prompt from you just to guarantee I can do it. ><

Day in and day out. Work work work. That's all I've been doing Mon-Fri for the last two weeks. I feel like I don't have time to get online and socialize with my friends like I have been and like I want to. I'm tired, haven't been sleeping well, my wrist has been hurting me, etc. A million excuses, I know. I'm not used to this working 9-5 on a daily basis. It's draining, especially when there's too much consistency to your day. At least for me it is, but I guess that's what I'm to expect regardless of the type of job I end up with. Oh life.

I'll have a set of pictures from the photo meme ready by this weekend. I think I have pretty much everything shot. I just need to do one or two and then edit and upload. I'm also going to launch my holiday card post soon too so I can get started on that as soon as possible. Since there's no telling how much or how little time I'll have to execute it.^^

Anyway, I must be off to get ready for work. ♥

Okay! So every year I send out holiday cards and include a photograph of some sort, whether it's one I take or some that I've printed off and you have the option to choose.

I'm not sure what to do this year. I would love to be able to take a polaroid for everyone but that is not possible. T_T What would you guys like to see from me? Would you like a prompt to give me and I take the photo (realistic prompts of course) or would you rather I give you options to choose from? (I have no idea of what though. I have no darkroom access sadly.)

Ideas! Thoughts? Opinions. All are greatly appreciated. :D

I've been meaning to update all week but I just ... haven't. :/

Monday I planned to go get my inspection sticker for my car and then go get some baking supplies to make a checkerboard cake since my mom had bought cake mix. Things were going accordingly but when I went to get my inspection sticker, the guy told me that my license plate expired that day too. (Of course I waited until the last day of the month to bring my car rofl.). So I had about an hour to get to the DMV to renew my registration before they closed. I got there and didn't have to wait but when I asked the lady at the counter about paying with a card, she said they only take cash or checks. OF COURSE I had left my check book at home because I never use it. I only had like $20 cash on me and she couldn't tell me about how much it would be. Also the ATM they had over there was out of order. SO, I went run to the bank and took like $60 out of my account. OTL. I went back to the DMV with 15 minutes left until they closed, had to wait a few minutes, then got through that and was out $32. -_-; SO! With the remaining cash I had, I went to Target and to Hobby Lobby and bought a ton of baking stuff!

When I got home, I immediately started to bake~

I baked two white cakes, which I killed one of them flipping it over because the cake itself was so crumbly!

And I baked two chocolate cakes.

I do not have pictures of the process of making the target board cut outs because it was a very messy process and I nearly failed at it. Rofl. I only managed to find one decent sized round cookie cutter to cut the cake and I used a smaller baking pan to make the other circle. OTL. So annoying.

Then carefully stacking them with some white and chocolate frosting (since I didn't have enough) to hold it together and started the top icing!

I ran out of frosting so I had to wait until the next day to go back to the store and get another can of it. I was not expecting the cake to be so huge....

The next day fully frosted!

And of course I had the first piece. Rofl.

I was really just happy the whole thing didn't just collapse when I cut into it. -_-;; I was pretty much expecting it to just fail since I had so much trouble with it but I was really happy that it came out so well! I think I will stick to baking cookies and cupcakes though. Whole cakes are a pain in the ass to deal with. Rofl.

And for supper I ate my last pack of shin ramen. ):

Randomly, I'm so happy with how much my face had cleared up since going to the dermatologist!

Anyway, so I'm home alone all this weekend. My family went camping for the Labor Day holiday and won't be back until Monday sometime. So I have definitely been enjoying this. Lol. I cleaned the kitchen and my bathroom today and now I am picking up clothes. I will perhaps vacuum and do other fun things later.

Went hang out with John and Ben after work yesterday. We went to Thibodaux to this new Mexican restaurant. The food was really good and the prices were pretty reasonable. Though IDK what they put in their food but after we ate, not only was I like ridiculously full but it made me so damn tired! We went back to town and headed to feed John's boss's chickens at his house and then went to Sears to wait on his car that had been there for like 5 hours. All he needed was to get his tire plugged and there was a nail in it. -_-; After that we just went back to his house and I played with Meaface and tried not to fall asleep on the couch. Decided to just go home after a while since I really didn't feel like going to a movie.

But I've been informed that we are going on a photo adventure tomorrow! So that will be fun. :D I can't wait!

The shop move has been pushed back to the end of the month. -_-; They have to wait on the electric company now to go install some stuff and it can take up to 3 weeks. So our hours have been cut back (it won't actually effect me thankfully) so I get to close at 6pm instead of 8pm! Which I am not complaining about to be completely honest. Rofl. I am just trying to hold out until we move into the new building (the hair salon has already moved in) before I make any sort of final decision with what I do about working and whether I go find a new job.

My work schedule has been changed after months of it being basically the same.

I'm now working Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings, Friday mornings/all day, and every other Saturday. I was working Monday mornings, Wednesday & Thursday evenings, Friday mornings/all day, and every other Saturday.

It will probably change again when we move September 1st. I will most probably be working a lot more than I do now and my boss told me I'm going to have more responsibilities. I have no idea what that entails but I guess I'll find out when we move.

There's a lot I could rant about concerning work but I shall refrain from doing so. I just feel so detached to the real world and everyone that I've been friends with for a while. But it's good to get to hang out with Robert, John, and Ben since it makes me feel human even if we just hang out at the bookstore and go to the movies. Rofl.

I just hope things work out for next summer. To be gone for an entire month will be a much needed getaway. *sigh*

And now it's off to work. La. ♥

Robert and I went hang out after I got off work today. We just went to BAM to hang out, then Canes so he could get some munchies, then to Best Buy where I bought a new DVD-I to HDMI cord for my monitor and I bought a new optical mouse for my netbook because the one I have is psycho. Since we had nothing better to do we went to the mall and on to Dillard's where I bought the above. :)

LJ's new location detection sucks. I do not live in Thibodaux, thank you. Rofl.

Anyway, I'm dead tired. So goodnight. ♥

John, Ben, and I traveled to Metairie one Saturday just because. I suggested we go eat Korean food but the restaurant wasn't opening until like 4:30 and so we went waste an hour and a half at the Barnes and Nobles across the street. I ran into Sean Nguyen from high school there. Lol. After wasting our time we went eat and the food was jlasjg;asj SO GOOD OMG. We had japchae, bulgogi, spring rolls and banchan with beansprouts, pickled radish, potato, cucumber, shredded daikon/carrots, & kimchi. NYOM. I want to go to the mom and pop restaurant next time. I need to brush up on my Korean though. Lmao. After that we didn't know what to do so we just went walk the levee by the Treasure Chest Casino. Lake Pontchartrain is just as ... boring as ever. Lol.

I finally managed to find this robot camera on ebay since I've wanted one since I saw it on 10x10.co.kr.
And I bought one because it was a good deal that I couldn't pass up:

And that's all I have from that day. I have three film cameras that I need to finish the rolls in from New Orleans yesterday. But whether that happens before I leave to go to Florida next Sunday is not really likely. :/

I just feel kind of dead and unproductive. Not really happy with much recently but hopefully vacation will make for some well needed R&R.

So I went to New Orleans today with Robert and Alana. It was a lot of fun. I only took my film cameras with me so I don't have any pictures just yet. It was ridiculously hot but we were there for at least 5 hours or so. We had a good time and I'm glad that Alana did too. She's Robert's friend from California who is actually from Hawaii. There were a lot of people in the city despite the heat but I guess it's not surprising. This is tourist season but it wasn't too bad. I'm home now and ridiculously tired. I just need to get to bed as it's nearly 10 pm.

Saw Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen this past Wednesday. It was awesome. I recommend everyone go see it if they haven't. I'm excited for Harry Potter soon too! I plan on going to the midnight showing. Then hopefully going see it with my lovely hp_la girls who I miss dearly. ♥

And July 4 and vacation coming up this weekend. I'll be gone from the 5th to the 12th. I'm bringing my netbook with me so I'll still have internet because I can't live without it. I'm just ready for a vacation. No work for a whole week and playing on the beach and taking pictures and just being away from it all. Mmm. I need this. I really do.
