And that's all. I had a good Christmas and I ate way too much food so I'm kind of miserable atm. Lol. But I hope everyone had a good Christmas as well. ILU all. ♥

Long time no update! (Psst. If you haven't filled out my holiday card post, go go go!)

I brought the idea up to mom to get an elliptical for Christmas since they always get us a "family" Christmas present. Since we never make it to the gym (with the exception of my brother who is doing kick boxing & MMA) but always complain about needing to work out and lose weight. So mom and Robert went buy an elliptical last week. Rofl. I've worked out nearly every day for a good 15-20 minutes and have lost 3lbs since last week. \m/ If I can keep it up and build my resistance up to go more than 20 minutes (my thighs, they burns) then I don't doubt I can lose about 30lbs or more in a few months time. WHICH MAKES ME VERY HAPPY! :D

Work has been blah. Still not exactly making 20 hours a week but that's mostly because we are so insanely slow still and they still haven't managed to finish the building. -_-; They need to be done before December 5th since we're having our Grand Opening (oh joy).

Nothing much else has been going on. I have some errands to go run today, bank, Walmart for make-up, etc. Mom, my Granny, and I went shopping Sunday. I got some espresso brown curtains for my room and I bought a couple of other little things. :3 ( Pictures here. )

I bought some skinny jeans too that I need to get hemmed because they are like a foot too long on me. -_-; Mom wants to go see The Blind Side this weekend but New Moon comes out and I am somewhat afraid of going to the theatre. Rofl. I want to see New Moon but it will wait until it's in the theatre for a few weeks. John wants to go see Avatar and I want to see Ninja Assassin and damn near everything else that has come out. Too many movies and no time to go see them!

There was something else I wanted to write about but I forgot what it was. Oh well. I guess I'll go shower now and attempt to get some things done today. :D ♥

Day in and day out. Work work work. That's all I've been doing Mon-Fri for the last two weeks. I feel like I don't have time to get online and socialize with my friends like I have been and like I want to. I'm tired, haven't been sleeping well, my wrist has been hurting me, etc. A million excuses, I know. I'm not used to this working 9-5 on a daily basis. It's draining, especially when there's too much consistency to your day. At least for me it is, but I guess that's what I'm to expect regardless of the type of job I end up with. Oh life.



I'll have a set of pictures from the photo meme ready by this weekend. I think I have pretty much everything shot. I just need to do one or two and then edit and upload. I'm also going to launch my holiday card post soon too so I can get started on that as soon as possible. Since there's no telling how much or how little time I'll have to execute it.^^

Blah blah blah blah blah.

I've been meaning to update all week but I just ... haven't. :/


Monday I planned to go get my inspection sticker for my car and then go get some baking supplies to make a checkerboard cake since my mom had bought cake mix. Things were going accordingly but when I went to get my inspection sticker, the guy told me that my license plate expired that day too. (Of course I waited until the last day of the month to bring my car rofl.). So I had about an hour to get to the DMV to renew my registration before they closed. I got there and didn't have to wait but when I asked the lady at the counter about paying with a card, she said they only take cash or checks. OF COURSE I had left my check book at home because I never use it. I only had like $20 cash on me and she couldn't tell me about how much it would be. Also the ATM they had over there was out of order. SO, I went run to the bank and took like $60 out of my account. OTL. I went back to the DMV with 15 minutes left until they closed, had to wait a few minutes, then got through that and was out $32. -_-; SO! With the remaining cash I had, I went to Target and to Hobby Lobby and bought a ton of baking stuff!

When I got home, I immediately started to bake~

Anyway, so I'm home alone all this weekend. My family went camping for the Labor Day holiday and won't be back until Monday sometime. So I have definitely been enjoying this. Lol. I cleaned the kitchen and my bathroom today and now I am picking up clothes. I will perhaps vacuum and do other fun things later.

Went hang out with John and Ben after work yesterday. We went to Thibodaux to this new Mexican restaurant. The food was really good and the prices were pretty reasonable. Though IDK what they put in their food but after we ate, not only was I like ridiculously full but it made me so damn tired! We went back to town and headed to feed John's boss's chickens at his house and then went to Sears to wait on his car that had been there for like 5 hours. All he needed was to get his tire plugged and there was a nail in it. -_-; After that we just went back to his house and I played with Meaface and tried not to fall asleep on the couch. Decided to just go home after a while since I really didn't feel like going to a movie.

But I've been informed that we are going on a photo adventure tomorrow! So that will be fun. :D I can't wait!


The shop move has been pushed back to the end of the month. -_-; They have to wait on the electric company now to go install some stuff and it can take up to 3 weeks. So our hours have been cut back (it won't actually effect me thankfully) so I get to close at 6pm instead of 8pm! Which I am not complaining about to be completely honest. Rofl. I am just trying to hold out until we move into the new building (the hair salon has already moved in) before I make any sort of final decision with what I do about working and whether I go find a new job.

Okay I need to actually start folding my clothes now. Ta~ ♥

My work schedule has been changed after months of it being basically the same.

I'm now working Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings, Friday mornings/all day, and every other Saturday. I was working Monday mornings, Wednesday & Thursday evenings, Friday mornings/all day, and every other Saturday.

It will probably change again when we move September 1st. I will most probably be working a lot more than I do now and my boss told me I'm going to have more responsibilities. I have no idea what that entails but I guess I'll find out when we move.


There's a lot I could rant about concerning work but I shall refrain from doing so. I just feel so detached to the real world and everyone that I've been friends with for a while. But it's good to get to hang out with Robert, John, and Ben since it makes me feel human even if we just hang out at the bookstore and go to the movies. Rofl.


I just hope things work out for next summer. To be gone for an entire month will be a much needed getaway. *sigh*

Robert and I went hang out after I got off work today. We just went to BAM to hang out, then Canes so he could get some munchies, then to Best Buy where I bought a new DVD-I to HDMI cord for my monitor and I bought a new optical mouse for my netbook because the one I have is psycho. Since we had nothing better to do we went to the mall and on to Dillard's where I bought the above. :)

LJ's new location detection sucks. I do not live in Thibodaux, thank you. Rofl.

Anyway, I'm dead tired. So goodnight. ♥

So I went to New Orleans today with Robert and Alana. It was a lot of fun. I only took my film cameras with me so I don't have any pictures just yet. It was ridiculously hot but we were there for at least 5 hours or so. We had a good time and I'm glad that Alana did too. She's Robert's friend from California who is actually from Hawaii. There were a lot of people in the city despite the heat but I guess it's not surprising. This is tourist season but it wasn't too bad. I'm home now and ridiculously tired. I just need to get to bed as it's nearly 10 pm.

Saw Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen this past Wednesday. It was awesome. I recommend everyone go see it if they haven't. I'm excited for Harry Potter soon too! I plan on going to the midnight showing. Then hopefully going see it with my lovely hp_la girls who I miss dearly. ♥

And July 4 and vacation coming up this weekend. I'll be gone from the 5th to the 12th. I'm bringing my netbook with me so I'll still have internet because I can't live without it. I'm just ready for a vacation. No work for a whole week and playing on the beach and taking pictures and just being away from it all. Mmm. I need this. I really do.

1. I ordered the netbook and a case. This and this to be precise. They should be in by Monday.
   
2. Got my package from DVD Heaven in. They tried to leave it last Wednesday but I guess no one was home to sign for it. Damn registered international mail. (Pictures further down.)
   
3. Did not go to a single Mardi Gras parade and I could care less. Hmm.
   
4. I had to pick mom up after the parade Monday at like 12:30. It lasted so late, I was surprised.
   
5. Thought I was going to have to bring mom to the hospital yesterday, but thankfully her ailment cleared up.
   
6. Tried to straighten up a bit in my room but it really didn't make any difference.
   
7. Boys Over Flowers and Supernatural have officially taken over my life.
   
8. I can't wait for Super Junior's 3집 to go on pre-order! Ugh, March, hurry up and get here.

I seriously seriously want to go out of the country in the next 6 months. Ideally I'd like to go to South Korea, but IDK what I'd do once I got there. (I mean, I know what there is to do but yeah...) Lol. I need someone to go with me who would appreciate the trip. I know some people over there through cyworld who speak a bit of English but they're all in school. I'm just generally clueless about the whole thing to be honest.

IDK. Back to work tomorrow though. Lovely. ♥

I haven't updated in a while and I also haven't been commenting like I usually do. I don't know what it is, I just don't have the energy to do so right now. I have been reading, I just don't always have something to contribute so I'd rather not instead of pulling something out of my ass just for the sake of commenting.


A quick breakdown of what's been happening in my life:

1. Work. Been working a bit more than usual because one of the girls I work with got in a wreck and had to stay home for a week to recuperate.
   
2. Kim kimberly_elf sent me a care package full of the Supernatural seasons 1-3 and some goodies which have been consuming my time.
   
3. Got my first speeding ticket ever. I have to shell out a good $200 so it doesn't go on my record. :/
   
4. Parades are starting this weekend and I have no desire to get stuck in the middle of them.
   
5. Been reading. I think I've read at least 9 books in the last 3 months, which is a huge leap considering the less than 1 I would read per year.
   
6. Brought my car to the shop and they replaced the master cylinder, fixed the rattle and squeak, and now I don't have to worry about my breaks possibly giving out on me anymore.
   
7. Lost 3lbs. This is a happy.
   
8. Bought nearly $150 worth of film and plan on using it soon. I need a photo adventure like whoa.
   
9. I really want to upgrade to a 50D, but spending nearly $1500 is not very appealing (I got an $1800 Best Buy credit card oh why).
   
10. I'm going to get myself into credit card debt, I can see it. D:
    
11. I want to go hiking really bad but the weather is sucky. (Rain + hiking do not go together.)
    
12. Computer is still being a bitch.
    
13. I feel so out of touch with everyone and I hate it.

Hmm. I think that about covers it.

It's been a long weekend. I'm worn and severely wish it was the end of the week already. I worked Friday, Saturday, this morning, and have to open again tomorrow (but my next two paychecks will be fabulous). Friday I went all the way home after work just to turn right back around to bring my brother to his friend's house. Since I was already around, I went meet John at BAM. We went eat Thai and Ben met us at the restaurant. The food was really good. I want to try their curry the next time I go though. Hobby Lobby for more holiday cards since I ran out (20+ and counting). I sent out the international ones today; they will be very late, my apologies. I need to go buy a couple of books of stamps but I haven't had time to run to the post office. Hopefully the rest will be out no later than Wednesday. They should still have enough time to make it to your mailboxes. XD

Mom and I went shopping yesterday and I came home with 3 dresses and two new pairs of shoes. Everything was on sale so we got 3 dresses (normally $60-70 each) for $40 each. And I got two pairs of patent leather shoes, one short wedge which is almost a flat and a heel. They are so freaking cute. (One and Two) Picture quality sucks. Sorry. If I manage to not look too fat I'll take pictures of my dresses too, but I guarantee nothing at this point.

I have no idea what to get mom for Christmas. :/ She keeps hinting at a massage so I may get her a gift certificate from work for one. I'm also going to tan a few times at work before the wedding so I don't blind anyone with my paleness.

I got cards in the mail! From hp5freak, torn_portfolio, and itsumademo_news. Michelle! The little Kyuhyun picture was brilliant! Thank you guys so much. I promise to send out cards soon. ;-;

Did anyone else ever read the Angus, Thongs, etc series? THEY MADE A MOVIE. OMG. I love it so much even if it is so teen drama-y and ridiculous. *is 12* It makes me miss London so bad. I truly fell in love with that city in 2004. *sigh* I want to go backkk. Also the gorgey English boys and accents and just lajg;lsjah;jah!

Finishing up Holiday cards today and will hopefully have them mailed by...Friday. They'll probably be late to everyone overseas. :(

I need to revamp my journal tags so badly. I have over 400 of them and 90% of those are only used like once. WTF. :/ Whether or not I actually end up doing that. I still don't know.

Almost had a dress for mom's wedding. She had a gorgeous strapless dress from Black&White that she never wore, but alas because of my ABNORMALLY LARGE RIBS I can't wear it. Is there some sort of rib removal surgery out there? I would gladly take it. Despite being ... not thin, I have a really small waist but it is stupidly offset by my GINORMOUS ribs. I'll take a picture one day. It's so off-putting. Ugh.

It might snow tonight. Well technically snow mixed with rain. I'll be sleeping but this idea excites me more than anyone around here. Hahah. It's going to be in the 40s tomorrow! Oh finally the cold weather is coming again. Love love.

Anyway, off to make lunch. ♥

Today was spend money day! $45 on contacts and solution, $22 on new headphones because the wires were starting to show on the ones I have D: (the ones I bought were actually supposed to be $30 but the sign they had up for the ones I wanted said they were $19.99; false advertising sods), $4 on coffee for my 2 hour wait between eye appointment and oil change, $18 for oil change.

Next on my agenda is to order Sunny some food. And figure out Christmas presents if at all. :/ This holiday traffic makes me want to crawl in a ball and not go anywhere at all. If only that were possible.

Now I'm home and get to align and print 140 address labels for my mom's wedding invitations. Oh the joy.

Tomorrow I am not doing anything for the better part of the day. yeah right

Some other random RL things going on. I got the job at the tanning salon today! I went in for an "interview" and the owner said she'd give me a try. Haha. I have to go in tomorrow at 9:30am for training and then I'll start Monday 4-8pm. Also, my mom and her fiancé have set a date for their wedding on December 27. Yes of this year. Yes, in less than two months. D: Crazy people they are.

Anyway, I need to go ... start getting ready so I can get my mom to lace me up when she gets home. Lmao.

SICK. OMG. I want to rip my sinuses out right now. Mom and I are both home today feeling like crap because we are having sinus issues. D: I think she's going to make us doctor appointments to get better. Obviously I cannot be sick this week as my sister's wedding is Saturday. Joy.

On that note, I need to get my nails done (oh why) and I'm going get a spray tan (lololol) Thursday so I am not the palest person blinding an entire church full of people. I still have no idea what I'm doing with my hair. :(

My sister's bridal shower went well. I didn't eat or drink (just one amaretto sour) much because I wasn't feeling well. I had a headache and was nauseated the whole time. Needless to say I missed out on the bachelorette party (which I'm honestly not very upset about) that was after the shower. I am VERY SAD that I did not get to ride in the fine Navigator? limo they rented for the night. But it's best that I didn't go because, well, I had a very unpleasant night once I got home to spare the details. I do have some pictures from it. Though I wasn't the one taking them (since I was writing the list of gifts she got) so they aren't all that great. Lol.

So I'm at my sister's house right now. We got power back Sunday evening but the cable, phone, and internet are all still down. I hope they manage to get it back up soon. I'm in serious deprevation mode right now. I hate not having my downloads. D: lajgs;ajg

I hope things will be back to normal soon. Most of the city has power but there's still so much stuff down and areas that aren't powered. It's just annoying more than anything right now.
